Values matter when they shape a real choice: materials, access, sourcing, privacy, employment or service. VURM connects those approved operating facts to the offer so the website feels principled without making broad claims it cannot prove.

A worked brief for a values-led company.
List each value statement and ask what the business actually does differently. A verifiable policy, supplier criterion or service practice can become useful content. A broad claim such as “the most sustainable” should be removed unless defensible evidence exists.
The value should appear where it affects the decision. Sourcing belongs beside the product or service it changes; privacy belongs near the data request; accessibility commitments belong in the experience and wording, not only on an about page.
Connect principle to practice.
Home: state the offer before the broader mission.
Service pages: explain the operating choice where it matters.
About: provide context, ownership and accountable wording.
Evidence or policies: link current supporting information.
Contact: avoid collecting information the business does not need.
Rewrite an abstract claim as a customer fact.
Instead of “we put people and planet first,” a page can state a confirmed material choice, repair practice or supplier standard and explain what it means for the service. If there is a trade-off or limited scope, say so.
Certifications, impact figures and partner logos are published only with current proof and permission. VURM can design the presentation but does not validate the underlying claim.

Questions small-business owners ask
Clear answers before you choose a website partner.
Can we say our business is sustainable?
Use a broad claim only when you can define and support it. Concrete practices are usually clearer and safer for customers.
Will VURM verify certifications?
The customer supplies current evidence and approves the claim. VURM does not act as a certification body.
Can accessibility be part of the build?
VURM targets accessible behavior in its work, but formal conformity should not be claimed without an independent audit.
Is VURM a Seattle company?
No. VURM works from the Netherlands and delivers the project remotely.
Turn values into useful website facts.
Share the operating choices and evidence behind the brand. Johan will build the website argument around what customers can actually verify.
VURM replies from the Netherlands and plans meetings around your time zone.
