Security baselineA professional website with up to five agreed core pages.
A kitchen remodel, addition and commercial renovation need different planning, access and evidence. The website should identify project fit without pretending a few fields can price construction.
Group the real work the contractor wants: perhaps whole-home remodeling, additions, kitchens and baths, or selected commercial projects. For each, explain the typical starting stage, property type, service territory and who should contact the company. Do not list every construction term merely to appear broader.
A visitor should see whether the company offers design-build, works from completed plans, or joins after another design professional. The contractor must approve that wording.
Ask for property location, project category, current stage, broad timing, whether plans exist and a short description. Optional photos can help show existing conditions when the contractor has an approved handling process. Staff still determine feasibility, site access, licensing needs, schedule and whether a visit is appropriate.
Avoid exact budget bands unless the contractor intentionally uses and maintains them. Submission does not reserve a crew or establish a contract.
A strong case example identifies the kind of property, agreed scope and visible work without exposing a client’s private information. Use original images with permission. Avoid unsupported claims about cost savings, completion time or property value.
Service-area pages need real local evidence, such as completed work, relevant conditions or a distinct office. A copied page for every town creates no value for an owner choosing a contractor.
A contractor site may need service pages, project stories, process, company credentials, service area and inquiry. Copy development, photography selection, URL migration and integrations can change the build. Estimating software, client portals and scheduling systems require separate assessment.
Current managed-build options are shown from VURM’s catalog. The project proposal records pages, responsibilities, review and price. Publication uses an eligible Platform plan.
Review which facts decide whether the company pursues a lead: project type, stage, location, ownership, plans and timing. Those facts form a useful website route. The contractor remains responsible for trade, license, safety and contract information.

This baseline applies to a website built by VURM. Your package and proposal still define the exact scope.
This baseline consists of the technical measures listed above. It is not a general security audit or a guarantee against every risk. We agree any additional checks and external integrations in your proposal.
Clear answers before you choose a website partner.
A public form can gather project context, but drawings, existing conditions, selections, labor and subcontractor input affect a real estimate. Present an instant number only when the contractor operates a reviewed calculator with defined assumptions.
Use approved original images and explain the property type and scope. Group projects by the work customers are comparing. Do not add invented budgets, schedules or client outcomes.
Only when the contractor genuinely serves the place and has distinct, maintainable information that helps local owners. One accurate service-area page is better than many copied city pages.
Bring the services, examples and first-contact questions your team can verify. VURM will define the pages and responsibilities before work begins.
